OUR ROLE: Developer, Asset Management

Lumen Above Railroad Park is a fully furnished purpose-built student housing project by Corporate Realty Development and co-developer Parallel Co. Across the street sits the award-winning Railroad Park, giving residents the finest view of Birmingham’s growing Parkside District. This mixed-use development will consist of 207-units with 474-beds situated above a ground level parking deck. Upscale amenities will include a rooftop sky lounge, an outdoor pool and courtyard with grilling stations, fitness center, game room, private study and meeting rooms, secure bike storage, and its walkability to the neighboring district. The ground floor will be home to a new restaurant concept to service residents and those working in or visiting the area. Lumen completed construction in the summer of 2021, just in time for the 2021-2022 school year.
